On Saturday, October 11, 2008, the
Chippewa Falls High School marching held its 11th annual "Drums Along
the Chippewa" marching band competition. The weather was outstanding --
it was stil 65 degrees at 11:00 p.m.!
The Marching Cardinals did a great job, and the Bluegold Marching Band from the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire were fantastic! Here are some pictures I took roaming around and from the back row with my FZ50 digital camera. I couldn't get many close-ups due to the low light...hoping for sun tomorrow afternoon in Menomonie. - Tom Arneberg (toma@arneberg.com) |
